Clermont library will be opened every Tuesday and Thursday the weeks of July 11th-August 5th from 9-11. Please bring your children in to check out some books and participate in various scheduled activities! Our open check out time will be from 9:00-10:00. Children will have an opportunity to browse our wonderful book collection and stock up on books to read at home! Clermont children may join us from 10:00-11:00 for a read aloud, book hook, and a fun follow up activity. Here is what we have planned:

  • July 12: How to books – create a project
  • July 14: Poetry – Poetry Cafe
  • July 19: Biographies – Reader’s Theater
  • July 21: Fiction – make a postcard
  • July 26: Scientific Books – science experience
  • July 28: Series Books – Wixie project
  • August 2: Read about a place you would like to visit - explore Google Earth
  • August 4: Read to a stuffed animal or pet

The staff at Clermont look forward to seeing you in our library this summer so we can continue to read and become the best readers we can be! Parent/Guardian must be present with children at all times.
