Digital Citizenship Resources

FCPS and have numerous resources that will support your family in important discussions about Digital Citizenship at home. They include:

Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) is entering a multi-year transformation to align our classroom instruction with our goal for all students - Portrait of a Graduate. This transformation is called FCPSOn and will ensure that all students have access to an active and inspiring learning environment.

Technology will be an important component of this transformation - allowing teachers to personalize different learning activities for students.

Learn more about FCPSOn here.

SIS Parent Accounts

SIS Parent Accounts become active at the start of each school year. Letters containing directions and an activation key code are sent to new families within the first month of school.  The SIS Parent Account will provide you access to your student’s attendance, report card grades, and additional information, establishing yet another form of communication between home and school.

If you have not yet registered and your activation key code has expired, please contact the school during normal business hours so that a new key code can be mailed to you.

You can learn more by visiting the Student Information System - SIS Parent Account Registration webpage. Once your account has been set-up you can use to log in to access your account at:

A SIS ParentVue mobile app is also available. Learn more here.

Parent View Accounts: As of September 8, 2015, legal guardians must have an active SIS Parent Vue Account to be able to login to your FCPS24-7 Learning Parent View account. The same login will be used to access both the SIS and FCPS 24-7 systems after this date. Each parent has or will receive a letter in the mail providing a web address, activation key, and directions on registering for a SIS Parent account. If you received a letter, but did not act within the allotted 45 days, you must request a new activation code from your child’s school.

More importantly Parent View Accounts allow guardians to update their children’s emergency care information online. Learn how to Register for a ParentView Account on the FCPS 24-7 Learning: Parent Help webpage.
