Fairfax County Public Library

Are you reading a series and you're not sure what book comes next? Check out the amazing list from the Mid-Continent Public Library in Independence, Missouri.

Our own Fairfax County Public Library has a large number of booklists — Fantasy, Science Fiction, Graphic Novels, Realistic Fiction, and lots more. We can't borrow books from the public library for you, but there are at least 5 branches of the FCPL in our attendance area.

The Springfield (Mass.) City Library has dozens of booklists for teens, arranged by topic, such as Hispanic heritage, romance , skateboarding, "If You Liked 'A Child Called It,'" and many others. If you see something there that we don't have here, let us know.

Reading Rants is another site with lots of booklists and reviews. It's produced by Jennifer Hubert, a middle school librarian in New York City.

How do you pronounce that? Listen to recordings of authors and illustrators pronouncing their own names.

Do you like to read manga? The latest episodes of your favorite titles might be available on One Manga.
