Meet the PES 4th Grade Team

campbell Mary Campbell is beginning her 14th year as an ESOL Teacher for FCPS at Providence ES. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from James Madison University and her ESOL Endorsement from the University of Virginia. Mary lives in Fairfax City with her husband Mark, her two children Kelly and Jackson, and her Golden Retriever Bindi. She enjoys reading, spending time at the beach, quilting, gardening, and taking long walks with Bindi.
chang Mrs. Julianne Chang is beginning her sixth year at Providence. She grew up in Fairfax County and continued her education at the University of Virginia, where she received her Bachelors of Arts in Economics and Masters of Teaching. Mrs. Chang loves spending time with her family, reading, and traveling. She is excited to get to know her students this year- to challenge them, to celebrate with them, and to laugh with them.
epley Ms. Deanna Epley is excited to continue teaching here at Providence Elementary for a second year in 4th grade. She was born and raised in Fairfax County and feels lucky to be able to continue to work and live in the area. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree and Master's in Teaching degree from James Madison University. Her favorite subjects to teach are math and science! Ms. Epley loves practicing yoga and Zumba in her spare time, and loves going to JMU football games with her fiancé. She always begins her day with a coffee mug in hand and ends her day with Dove dark chocolate!
holton Ms. Holton is very excited to join the 4th grade team this year. This is her second year at Providence and her 20th year teaching! She has a Bachelor’s degree in Dance Education from the University of Utah and a Master’s Degree in Special Education from the College of Charleston. Ms. Holton loves dancing, reading, and spending time with her children.
howe Mrs. Howe was born and raised in Ohio and received her education at Ohio University. She is beginning her 19th year at Providence and her second year as an instructional assistant in special education
kleiman Mrs. Amy Kleiman is looking forward to her seventh year at Providence and to working with the stellar fourth grade team. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Elementary Education at George Mason University. She is the proud mom of two adult daughters, lucky wife of a very supportive husband, and happy "mom" to a ridiculously adorable boxer named Apollo. Mrs. Kleiman loves learning, teaching, reading, and laughing – all of which she will be doing often this year!
sanchez Mrs. Andiana Sanchez is excited for her second year at Providence ES as a Special Education Teacher. Previously, she worked as an IA with FCPS for the past 3 years. She is currently working towards her Master’s Degree in Special Education with George Mason University and has received an Art Degree from University of Maryland. Andi enjoys painting, reading, crocheting, and making fun items for her guinea pigs.
sez Mrs. Jennifer Szczesniak, Fourth Grade teacher, has been teaching for 19 years. She earned her BA from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and her Master's of Education from Marymount University. Ms. Sez loves spending time with her husband and two children and enjoys exercising and reading books for both children and adults.
