Meet the PES Resource Teachers

bajaj Ms. Rashmi Bajaj is starting her second year as a SPED IA at Providence ES. She previously worked in FCPS system as a substitute teacher for grades 1-6 and as a lead teacher for 9 years at a preschool in Vienna. She has a Bachelor degree in arts from a reputed university in India. Outside of school, Rashmi likes to spend time with her two kids and enjoy socializing with friends.
barber Mr. Matt Barber is excited to start his first year as a SPED IA. He worked as a SACC teacher at Providence for 6 years before joining the Special Education team. Outside of school Matt loves spending time with his wife and toddler son. He also enjoys the arts and playing sports. 
eid Mrs. Nawal Eid, Speech-Language Pathologist, was born and raised in Texas. She received her Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas, known for the Callier Center for Communication Disorders Clinic. This is her sixth year with FCPS, and she is grateful to be here at Providence Elementary. Nawal enjoys working with children, learning about different cultures, traveling, and trying new foods. She is also known for loving chocolate, coffee, and sushi.
sree Ms. Sreelekshmi Hareesh is excited to continue her second year at Providence ES as an Instructional Assistant. She has a bachelor degree in economics. Sreelekshmi has three years of experience in preschool teaching and one year as an instructional assistant with Providence. Sreelekshmi and her husband have two kids and both are FCPS students. Sreelekshmi is known for her Cooking and photography.
iskander Ms.Mervat Iskander is excited to start her second year at Providence Elementary as a SPED IA. She is originally from Egypt. Mervat earned her Bachelor degree in science and education from Egypt . She enjoys working with all the different levels throughout the day .Mervat and her husband have two kids , both were at Providence, and now they are at Lanier MS. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and cooking.
kehn Ms. Samantha Kehn is excited to start her second year teaching at Providence Elementary. She has been with FCPS since 2011 as a substitute. Samantha graduated from Marymount University with her Bachelor's Degree in 2016. After school she loves playing with and taking her dog Kailey for car rides and ice cream!
meluso Ms. Lindsey Meluso, special education teacher, is excited to start her fourth year at Providence Elementary! Lindsey graduated from James Madison University with her Master’s Degree in 2014. Outside of school, she loves to travel, play basketball, and spend time outdoors.
panta Mr. Bhadra Panta is excited to start his second year as a PHTA at Providence.He has a B. S. in Agriculture and Animal Husbandry (Hons.) degree from Haryana Agriculture University, India, and M.S. in Agronomy (Seed Technology) from Mississippi State University,Starkville, Mississippi. After serving for more than 40 years in Nepal in different capacities, he and his wife, Sushama, decided to immigrate and live in the USA with their elder daughter Sarita and her family in Fairfax. Their son, Sushil, an MIT Engineer and Harvard MBA, lives in Florida. The other daughter Anita lives in Sydney, Australia with her family. Altogether,  they have five grandchildren. Bhadra started working as a Substitute for FCPS since 2013 until he joined Providence last year. He enjoys reading news and articles on health and nutrition, science and math as well as watching movies with the family. 
rod Mrs. Shannon Rodriguez is starting her fourth year teaching at Providence Elementary. She previously worked as an Instructional Assistant in FCPS and as an in-home ABA therapist. She attended James Madison University and earned her Master’s Degree in Special Education from George Mason University. In her spare time, she enjoys reading memoirs, playing board games, and cooking new recipes.
sanchez Mrs. Andiana Sanchez is excited for her second year at Providence ES as a Special Education Teacher. Previously, she worked as an IA with FCPS for the past 3 years. She is currently working towards her Master’s Degree in Special Education with George Mason University and has received an Art Degree from University of Maryland. Andi enjoys painting, reading, crocheting, and making fun items for her guinea pigs.
