To ensure that your email service provider does not block or filter messages from your child's school or the district, it is best to add the following two domains to your "safe" or “permitted” email sender list:


Blackboard Connect is the service provider for essential parent and employee communications. By whitelisting both these domains you are allowing your email account to receive all email messages from Fairfax County Public Schools (@fcps.edu) that are sent by Blackboard Connect (@blackboardconnect.com), this includes attendance messages if you are a parent, emergency messages, delayed opening and school closings, messages from your child’s school and the district.

Make sure to never mark or send any messages from “@fcps.edu” or “@blackboardconnect.com” to Spam. If this is done you block all future messages including important messages about your child or important messages from your child’s school.
